To generate more traffic and revenue for PC World, I saw an opportunity of doing this by creating a marketing page around the new Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite.
Once I got my assets and had done my research into our competitors I started to create a few versions of my editorial page and sent it for sign off from the categories.
Now that I had sign off from the categories I began to code the editorial to web standards making sure that it was cross browser compatible. Once the page was creatd to the standards I began to optimise the page for the major search engines. This included meta tag changes, including title and and alt tags as well as other SEO techniques.
Once I had made the changes to the code I then went through copy given to us to change to add the keywords that I had identified during my keyword research. Once all this had been changed I then put the editorial page live.
